1970 Born in Redondela, Galicia.

1979 First contacts with music.

1980 Begins his musical studies with musicians from his town's band.

1981 Begins six studies at the Conservatório de Vigo.

1982 Chose the piano as his instrument.

1987 Begins his musical activity participating in several local rock groups.

1988 Writes his first own compositions for different formations. Presents his first compositions to the public.

1988 Joins the tango trio TANGATA.

1989 Starts to give concerts with the trio TANGATA.

1990 He studies composition at the Conservatory of Vigo.

1993 The violinist Laura Quintillán joins TANGATA Trio and becomes an instrumental tango quartet.

1993 Alberto graduated in piano at the Conservatório Superior de Vigo.

1994 He continued his studies in composition. He started teaching in private conservatories.

1996 Starts teaching at the public Conservatory of Lugo.

1997 TANGATA records his first album "Como en Octubre".

1998 He forms a duo with tuba player Eduardo Nogueroles and they perform several concerts. The double bass player Gustavo A. Barcia joins TANGATA in what will be the definitive formation - a quintet.

1999 Begins to work at Pontevedra Conservatory.

2000 with Eduardo Nogueroles the cd "Escenas Latinas".

2002 TANGATA releases the cd "Trece" with many concerts in Spain and Portugal.

2003 Starts his jazz studies at the Pontevedra Jazz Seminar.

2005 Composes and records the music for the documentary "O Imperio Textil" by Fernando Carreira.

2006 Receives a scholarship to study jazz in Portugal, in the Algarve.

2007 Married Lucía. Birth of his first son Manuel. TANGATA records his cd "CALAMBRE".

2008 Composes and records the music for the documentary "Manolo Barros, un rebelde de Aceiro".

2009 He composes many jazz themes and participates in various jazz related projects and seminars.

2010 Her second son Iago is born. Records her first solo cd "EXPERIANZA".

2011 Publishes "EXPERIANZA".

2013 Participates in the Leonardo project and travels to Italy as a guest teacher together with other colleagues from the Pontevedra Conservatory. Records "Crónica Cromática". Records with bassist Juyma Estévez's trio his CD "Océanos de Porcelana".

2014 Publishes " Crónica cromática".

2015 Records the cd "CHAPEU" of the actor and Tatán. Participates in the recording of the cd "Alegría" of the Brazilian guitarist Sergio Tannus.

2016 Records her album "UBUNTU" with the artist Diana Tarín. Participates in the new CD of the Galician artist Sonia Lebedinsky. Composes the music for the project "UNIVERSO LEM" that he integrates with the photographer Juan L. Amado. Composes and records the music for the documentary "ÁNGEL" by F. Carreira. Forms the trio "CIRCUS" with bassist José Manuel Díaz and drummer Noli Torres.

2017 He wins the Martín Códax Music Award with "UNIVERSO LEM". Participates in the recording of Julio Lorenzo's new Galician folk music CD, "Cantos da ialma" and joins his band. Records and gives concerts with the Galician singer Uxia. Integrates the Pontejazz Big Band in a concert at the Pontevedra Jazz Festival with music and direction by JESÚS SANTANDRE.

2018 Tangata celebrates 30 years of history and publishes the CD " QUE 30 AÑOS NO ES NADA...". He records with Galician singer TINO BAZ and participates in his concerts.

2019 Invited to play with the great singer from Portugal, VITORINO, in concert in Évora.

2020 In the middle of the Covid pandemic he composes 50 songs in 50 days of confinement that he publishes one per day on his Youtube channel, giving the name "CUADERNO DE BITÁCORA". After 5 years of work he edits "NAIALMA", his first solo piano work with great success for the press and the public. Recording with clarinetist FERNANDO ABREU for his record "CALMA". Participates in the recording of the cd of the Portuguese rock singer and guitarist Sergio Castro ("Trabalhadores do comercio").

2021 Wins again Martín Códax Music Award with "NAIALMA".

2022 Records his new solo piano CD "ONZE CANÇÕES E UMA DANÇA".
